• Moriah Bowman, Director

    Moriah started fostering as a single mom in August of 2019. Now, she and her husband Clayton foster together and continue to welcome children into their home. They adopted Lenny through foster care in 2021 and welcomed two biological children the next few years. Moriah considers foster care to be her greatest passion and has loved getting to know the foster care community in the Lansing area.

  • Kirsten Porter, Vice President

    Kirsten and her husband Aaron have been foster parents for over 3 years. They currently have one foster love who will be adopted later this year! Kirsten's heart is drawn to foster care because she believes God is calling her to stand in the gap for those in end, as well as bring hope to those going through difficult times. She can't wait to see how this local community can grow and care for all of our foster families!

  • Karlee Kehres, Secretary

    Karlee and her husband Chaz became foster parents at the very beginning of 2022. In 2023, their family grew through adoption! Foster care is something that remains a huge passion for Karlee, and she hopes to continue to grow alongside her family in her understanding of ways to serve foster families and children in the community.

  • Lisa Gingery, Community Director

    Lisa is excited to be a part of There’s Always Room as the Community Director. She is aware of the need for help and support in the foster care community and hopes her involvement in There’s Always Room will help meet those needs in a tangible way. Lisa loves helping others and is excited to use her gifts to serve foster families and children.

  • Amanda Guggemos, Treasurer

    Growing up, Amanda’s parents served as foster parents, and she had many foster siblings come into her life. She has seen firsthand the need for support in this community and is grateful for the opportunity to serve the foster care community as treasurer of There’s Always Room.
